Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate

Chapter 1433: Losing It

Chapter 1433: Losing It

Charles Seymour, having worked it out, naturally had no problems, but Dylan Clark on the other side was about to lose his mind.“Who? Who are they? I’m going to kill them!” Dylan’s head was bandaged, and the pain made him grit his teeth.

“President Clark, don’t be angry. They are from out of town…” Isabella Chamberlain hadn’t finished speaking when the furious Dylan interrupted, “I don’t care where they’re from!”

“Even if they are from outer space, I want them dead!” Dylan cursed through clenched teeth.

“Who do you want dead?” An aged, stern rebuke startled Dylan, making him shiver. Instinctively, he turned his head towards the door, his fierce demeanor instantly dampened, and obediently called out, “Dad.”

Elder Clark walked in. In fact, at his age, he wasn’t that old, just in his early sixties.

But here, he managed a substantial enterprise, so people respectfully called him Elder Clark.

“Always shouting about killing, can’t you do something proper?” Elder Clark angrily questioned, feeling angry at the sight of his second son.

How did I end up with such a piece of work?

Spending all his time indulging, leaving the company’s matters hanging. If it weren’t for his eldest and youngest sons, he might have been infuriated to death by this rascal.

“Dad, I was attacked, I didn’t attack anyone!” Dylan felt utterly wronged, “Dad, someone put a hole in my head, I even had stitches.”

“I still feel a bit nauseous, with a mild concussion!” At Dylan’s words, Elder Clark’s face darkened too. He walked briskly forward, reaching Dylan and asked concernedly, “Still feeling sick to your stomach?”

“Not feeling well.” Dylan whimpered, this thirty-year-old man acting like a child didn’t feel anything was wrong.

Elder Clark frowned, wanting to reprimand him, but when he saw his bandaged head, he swallowed back all the words.

“What happened?” Although Elder Clark’s question was stern, his tone softened considerably.

Seeing his son injured like this pained him.

When Elder Clark saw Dylan about to speak, he frowned and turned to Isabella Chamberlain: “You, tell me.”

“Yes, Elder Clark.” Isabella quickly explained, focusing on how Patrick Grant set her up and deceived her. Dylan, seeing injustice, tried to take matters into his own hands only to be beaten by Patrick and his group.

“So the troublemaker is you!” Elder Clark frowned and rebuked angrily.

At his age, how wouldn’t he recognize the problem?

He knew his son well enough — surely, he was captivated by Isabella’s beauty and foolishly rushed to his own detriment.

“Elder Clark, it wasn’t me.” Isabella hurriedly waved her hands, trying to clear herself from responsibility.

“If it wasn’t for you, what would Dylan have to do with this?” Elder Clark didn’t heed Isabella’s explanation, harshly shouted, “Get out!”

Isabella was so frightened she shivered, then grabbed her bag and fled in embarrassment.

“Dad.” Dylan lay half-leaning on the hospital bed, feeling uncomfortable, “I can’t just let them get away with cracking my head open.”

“What else can you do besides making trouble?” Elder Clark looked at his good-for-nothing son and said irritably, “Alright, just rest well here. I’ll have a nurse take care of you.”
